During the creation of the Autocalculograph, I happened to purchase a non-working mantle clock, good for all sorts of wonderful brass raw materials. Also, my old video recorder failed. Non a great catastrophe, but it was the primary clock in my living room. So... I needed a new clock, and I had some clock parts.

Thus, this thing was born. Mostly thrown together one weekend after purchasing a $14 digital clock, I dont know if it can be described as Steampunk or not.

Anyway, I like it. And its certainly a conversation piece. Maybe I'll get a scrap of leather and hide the circuit boards a bit more.
